The Government of Pakistan has restarted payments for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) under the 8171 initiative, offering a Rs.13,500 installment for September 2025. This financial aid is aimed at supporting low-income families across the country during challenging economic times.



Through the 8171 online portal, beneficiaries can now check their CNIC eligibility, track payment status, and find the nearest payment collection centers. The digital system is designed to make the process more transparent, efficient, and accessible to everyone—especially those in remote areas.



To check eligibility, users simply need to enter their 13-digit CNIC number on the portal. If eligible, they will receive details regarding their payment and where to collect it. Those not yet registered can also use the portal to see if their family qualifies for future payments.



The BISP September installment of Rs.13,500 is being disbursed through designated banks and retail agents across Pakistan. Beneficiaries are advised to only use authorized payment centers to avoid fraud or scams. The portal also allows users to lodge complaints about issues such as non-receipt or incorrect deductions.



This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to reduce poverty, empower women, and provide financial stability to underprivileged households.
