We are currently looking for a Buyer. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for researching the target market, analysing sales data and building relationships with suppliers. After gaining more experience, you will be able to identify gaps in the market and predict buying trends. You are expected to develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage a purchasing process and ensure that an organisation gets good procurement deals. The Key responsibilities of the role will be: -Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries -Collaboration with Logistics, Sales and Warehouse departments -Stock entries and daily stock levels review -Sales Analyses & Forecast of upcoming levels of demand -Establishing quality control and ensuring that bought stock meets company standards -Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier databases and procurement contracts -Working with inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products -Delivering reports on sales data, marketing activity and other metrics to the senior management team and other stakeholders -Conducting competitor research -Collecting and analysing data to help predict trends and forecast sales figures -Researching new markets, products and manufacturing processes -Identifying quality standards and ensuring that all products meet those standards.
