Territory Control Overhaul

The developers have acknowledged long-standing issues with Territory Wars and control dynamics. The next update aims to make owning and contesting territories more engaging and less monopolized by top-tier companies.



Expected Improvements:

Influence Decay: Territory influence may now naturally decay if a company doesn’t actively defend or New World gold manage it.



Smaller Faction Buffs: Bonuses for underdog factions to encourage balanced warfare.



War Queue System Enhancements: To give more players a chance to participate in siege warfare.



Cross-Server Features (Under Development)

Players have long requested cross-server interactions. The update may introduce:



Cross-server expeditions and group finder improvements.



PvP arenas with matchmaking across realms.



Global trading post pricing visibility to balance economies.



Crafting System Expansion

Crafting has always been a key pillar of New World, and the upcoming update may include:



New trade skill: Alchemy — allowing players to create powerful potions, transmute gear, or infuse items with Azoth.



Crafting specializations — professions that reward mastery with cheap New World coins unique recipes.



Housing bonuses for crafters, including dedicated workstations.
